Responsible for transferring and processing the migration of equipment, processes, and new products to ML; preparing quality system documentation and providing engineering support to the entire plant
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish relationships with corporate headquarters for product migration and/or changes
- Participate in supplier development activities.
- Establish liaisons with corporate headquarters for the transfer of documentation resulting from the implementation of new products and processes.
- Responsible for managing the receipt, coordination, and execution of engineering changes, and reporting their status as required.
- Responsible for managing the receipt, coordination, and response to quotes for new products.
- Provide support for the generation, authorization, and control of quality system documents to all company business units.
- Receive, manage, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) across different business units.
- Update, manage, and maintain the materials billing system.
- Coordinate information regarding configuration, Bills of Material (BOMs), and design directly with corporate headquarters.
- Create Bills of Material and routing.
- Create operation sequences for new products.
- Maintain Bills of Material and uphold the quality system through the implementation of ECOs.
- Coordinate activities to develop suppliers of equipment and tools that contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Coordinate Level II NPI projects that involve basic changes, adding capacity to an existing manufacturing process, and handling a new product without design changes.
- Coordinate Level III and Level II NPI projects that involve basic changes, introducing a new product with a current design, capacity increases, and introducing products with new designs that require coordination of a new manufacturing area.
## Qualifications
Qualifications & skills- Education: Industrial Engineering or related field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and migration of new product
- Language: Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) in both written and verbal communication is required to effectively communicate with diverse teams.
Competencies:- Knowledge of Gantt chart management
- Proficiency in project management software
- Knowledge of product costing.
