This role is designed for a seasoned backend engineer with at least 5 years of experience who thrives in high-stakes, real-time environments. You should be highly proficient in the Java ecosystem (specifically Java 17 and Kotlin) and have a strong grasp of event-driven architectures using Kafka. Since this team manages global voice call control, a background in VoIP or telecommunications is a significant advantage. Based in Bengaluru, you will be part of the VACS team, focusing on "five-nines" (99.999%) reliability. This is a mission-critical position where you will not only write code but also influence architecture, mentor junior developers, and solve complex scalability challenges.
