Summary

This role is ideal for a seasoned data professional with at least 6 years of experience, particularly within B2B SaaS environments. You should be an expert in SQL and data modeling, with a strong background in AWS Glue or similar orchestration tools. As a "Staff" level hire, this position isn't just about technical execution; it’s for a leader who can navigate ambiguity, mentor junior team members, and partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define the metrics that drive the business. The position offers a high degree of flexibility through a fully remote arrangement and a competitive compensation package ranging from **$155k to over $228k** (depending on location), plus equity and bonuses. It is a high-impact opportunity to build a formal analytics data layer from the ground up using a modern stack (Presto, LookML, Python), making it perfect for someone who enjoys setting best practices and influencing company-wide data culture. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have 6+ years of experience and thrive in autonomous, high-seniority roles. * Are a "SQL wizard" who can also write Python and navigate distributed computing (Spark/Presto). * Live in a qualified US state (note: CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, and WA have specific regional eligibility rules). * Excel at translating complex data anomalies into clear, actionable stories for non-technical stakeholders.
