Work type: onsite
Location: United States
Salary: $194,000 – $240,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a heavyweight quantitative leader who thrives at the intersection of statistical modeling and financial strategy. The ideal candidate is a "self-directed practitioner" with at least 9 years of experience (or 6 with a PhD) in high-stakes tech environments. You should be an expert in building end-to-end forecasting systems—not just standalone models—with a deep understanding of how to translate complex data into reliable revenue and cancellation drivers. The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from $194,000 to $240,000 plus equity, bonuses, and travel credits. While listed as "On-site" in the metadata, the description confirms it is **US-Remote Eligible**, offering significant flexibility. This is a high-visibility position where your work directly influences the financial core of a global platform, making it perfect for someone who values "decision-relevant" data over theoretical modeling. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have extensive experience with **R, Python, and Stan**, specifically for production-level forecasting. * Are comfortable owning the entire pipeline, from data engineering (SQL) to automated backtesting and monitoring. * Excel at stakeholder management and can explain statistical trade-offs to finance and product executives. * Prioritize model reliability, interpretability, and business impact over academic sophistication.
