# Job Summary

Lead the technical direction and execution of high-impact projects that support key business goals.
Partner with Product and Design to build scalable, user-focused applications.
Stay hands-on across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
Mentor and influence engineers while driving alignment, quality, and delivery across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design leadership across high impact projects that directly impact business goals

• Set strategic technical directions for your engineering team

• Partner with the designers and product managers to create an engaging and transparent customer experience

• Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions

• Influence and mentor a distributed set of engineers

• 8 - 12+ years of professional experience

• Experience building scaled web-based applications with deep understanding of business goals

• Exceptional technical design and technical communication skills.

• Strong proficiency with one or more programming languages (Ruby on Rails/React)

• Strong foundations in UI development and product security and or DevOps is helpful

• Able to negotiate trade offs between product and engineering priorities to maximize the business value of engineering effort

• Excellent communication skills
