Salary: £103,958 – £124,750/yr

Type: Full-time

This role is for an experienced mobile engineer who thrives at the intersection of platform development and observability. You aren't just building apps; you are building the SDKs that other developers use to monitor performance. You should be deeply proficient in the native ecosystems of iOS (Swift/Obj-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) and have a strong interest in open-source standards like OpenTelemetry. This is a fully remote position within the UK, offering a high degree of autonomy and a culture rooted in open-source excellence. Beyond the competitive base salary, the package includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), 30 days of annual leave, and a dedicated budget for modern AI coding tools. You’ll have the opportunity to influence a product used by millions, working on high-performance code that handles critical telemetry data at scale. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have a track record of building SDKs, libraries, or developer-facing platform tools. * Are obsessed with performance metrics like startup time, memory footprints, and network efficiency. * Enjoy navigating ambiguity and can turn high-level product goals into stable, documented code. * Want to contribute to the open-source community through OpenTelemetry and similar initiatives.
