Work type: remote
Location: Remote US
Salary: $225,000 – $275,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned product leader—likely with 7+ years of experience—who thrives at the intersection of high-scale engineering and complex financial systems. The ideal candidate has a background in Fintech, Capital Markets, or Debt Funds and possesses the "technical fluency" to debate data models with engineers while translating complex requirements for stakeholders in Legal, Risk, and Treasury. You aren’t just a visionary; you are a builder who is comfortable writing SQL to validate data and ensuring "investor-grade" precision. The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from **$225,000 to $275,000** (base) in high-cost areas, plus equity and robust benefits like 100% subsidized medical coverage. As a **fully remote** role, it offers significant geographic flexibility while maintaining the impact of a "Staff" level position. This is a high-visibility opportunity where your work directly influences how a $26B+ capital program scales, making it an excellent platform for career growth in the fintech sector. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Love diving into the "nitty-gritty" of financial logic, reconciliation, and data pipelines. * Prefer building durable, automated systems over managing manual, ad-hoc processes. * Can navigate extreme ambiguity to create a clear product roadmap for cross-functional teams. * Have a "zero-error" mentality when it comes to reporting and data accuracy.
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
Capital is the lifeblood of Affirm. Every loan we underwrite depends on reliable funding and trusted reporting to our investors. As Affirm scales across products, geographies, and funding structures, the accuracy, transparency, and resilience of our Capital systems become increasingly critical.
That’s where Capital Product comes in.
The Capital Product team builds the platform, tooling, and workflows that power Affirm’s $26+ billion Capital Program—enabling Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk to operate with speed and confidence while safeguarding investor trust through accurate, auditable, and scalable systems.
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead our Capital Risk and Deal Reporting product area. This role owns some of the most investor-visible and profit-impacting systems at Affirm. You will reduce operational risk, enable more sophisticated and accurate forecasting, and ensure investor-grade reporting by building durable systems that scale with Affirm’s growth—ultimately helping Affirm deploy capital more efficiently and passing those gains through to our customers.
This is a highly analytical, high-impact role for a product builder who is comfortable being deeply embedded in data and financial logic—and who brings a strong bias toward precision, correctness, and delivery.
