Staff Software Engineer - Call Control | India at five9

This role is designed for a highly experienced Software Architect or Lead Engineer with a deep background in telecommunications and real-time systems. With a requirement of over 10 years in software development, the ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of high-performance Java/Kotlin skills and low-level C++ knowledge. You should be an expert in voice protocols (SIP, RTP) and have recent, hands-on experience integrating Generative AI into voice platforms. Working out of the Bengaluru office, you will serve as a technical pillar for the Call Control team, aiming for "five nines" (99.999%) availability. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership position where you will move between architectural design on GCP/AWS and mentoring junior developers.
