Salary: $217,000 – $303,900/yr

Type: Full-time

Summary

This role is designed for a seasoned leader in the **Developer Experience (DevEx)** space. Despite the "Mid-level" tag in the metadata, the requirements—7+ years of experience and a "Staff" title—indicate they are looking for a heavy hitter who has managed large-scale CI/CD infrastructure and distributed systems. You should be an expert in tools like Kubernetes, BuildKite, or Bazel, with a proven track record of solving bottleneck issues for hundreds of fellow engineers. The compensation is a major draw, with a base salary reaching up to **$303,900**, plus equity and a 401k match. It offers the rare combination of a **fully remote** US-based lifestyle with the technical complexity of one of the internet’s most-trafficked platforms. You’ll have the autonomy to steer the technical roadmap and experiment with Generative AI to streamline the SDLC. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have architected build systems for large, distributed engineering organizations. * Prioritize "developer happiness" and enjoy reducing toil in the deployment pipeline. * Are comfortable mentoring senior engineers and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. * Possess a "Staff-level" mindset—meaning you care as much about strategy and empathy as you do about Go or Kubernetes.
