Summary

This role is designed for a veteran Full Stack Engineer with at least 10 years of experience who thrives in a "scale-up" environment. The ideal candidate is a Python expert with a deep understanding of AWS serverless architectures and the ability to lead frontend development using React and TypeScript. Since this is a "Staff" level role, you should be comfortable acting as a technical architect and mentor, bridging the gap between product requirements and scalable system design. The standout feature of this position is the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and legal tech (CLM) within a high-growth company. You will work in a fully remote, "low-ego" culture that prioritizes employee experience (EX) and work-life balance through perks like floating holidays and quarterly "no-questions-asked" wellness days. Technically, you’ll be building a global-scale serverless platform on AWS and integrating LLM-powered applications. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have 10+ years of experience and are ready to lead architectural decisions rather than just executing tickets. * Are highly proficient in Python for backend APIs and React/TypeScript for modern frontends. * Have hands-on experience with AWS serverless tools like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. * Enjoy "connective tissue" work—building the infrastructure that allows different products and services to communicate seamlessly.

Job Description

As the most trusted global leader in data-first contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, Agiloft helps organizations manage the end-to-end process of proposing, negotiating, signing, and leveraging contracts using our flexible Data-first Agreement Platform (DAP). With contract data as the foundation, customers quickly and collaboratively reach agreement and leverage contract visibility to thrive with competitive advantage. Employing powerful, pragmatic artificial intelligence as a legal force multiplier, and robust integration capabilities as a data liberator, organizations around the world trust Agiloft’s certified implementers to deliver connected, intelligent, and autonomous solutions across the entire contract lifecycle.

Top analysts like Gartner, Forrester, and IDC agree, all showing Agiloft as a leader in the CLM space. Our no code platform is easily managed and administered by business users, which is why Agiloft is the contract you keep: nearly a full 100% of new customers are satisfied with their initial implementations, and some 97% of customers renew every year. Ours is a growing, vibrant, successful company that is at the forefront of a market that is becoming a must-have for all organizations.

We believe that the way to build the strongest, most vibrant place to work is to bring in individuals from all walks of life, and to support them in bringing their authentic selves to their day, every day. Our working philosophy is that “EX = CX”: when employee experience is excellent, so is customer experience. We support multiple Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and offer a working environment that supports healthy work/life balance, including floating holidays and a quarterly, no-questions-asked wellness day.

You’ll be working with a team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, data scientists, designers, and legal subject matter experts to build cutting-edge innovations for afast-growing scale-up company.

Things we’ve built so far:

1. A global, enterprise-scale serverless platform on AWS, deployable on demand.

2. A suite of LLM-powered applications, employing thoughtful queuing and load balancing in order to manage LLM capacity at scale.

3. An API-first development culture, with a backend serving a growing number of frontend clients.

This role will lead the design and implementation of systems that extend the core Agiloft platform into a new generation of contract review and collaboration experiences. You’ll build high-leverage connective tissue that allows emerging

products and services to plug into the platform as first-class citizens. You’ll shape how data, workflows, and intelligence flow across systems, enabling seamless end- to-end contract experiences while setting technical patterns that make future expansion fast, elegant, and scalable.
