Summary

This role is ideal for a mid-level infrastructure engineer with at least 3 years of experience in distributed systems and a deep interest in software-defined storage. The team is looking for someone "fluent" in Linux who understands the intersection of hardware (NVMe/IPMI) and software automation. While specific storage brands are open, candidates with a strong background in Ceph will have a significant advantage. The company offers a robust compensation package that stands out for its high-value benefits, including 100% company-paid medical premiums, a $2,500 annual development budget, and a $500 annual remote office stipend. This is a fully remote, US-based position within a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar cloud provider, offering high visibility and the chance to work on large-scale global infrastructure. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have hands-on experience managing and scaling distributed systems or object storage. * Are comfortable writing automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PHP to manage infrastructure. * Enjoy "under the hood" work, such as performance tuning in virtualized environments and monitoring hardware健康. * Want a stable remote environment with unique long-term perks like a paid sabbatical every five years.
