Technical Lead II - Security Privacy at Hubspot

This role is designed for a senior backend engineer with prior leadership experience who wants to remain hands-on while managing a team. You should be highly proficient in **Java** (or another JVM language) and comfortable architecting distributed systems involving microservices, Kafka, and relational databases. Ideal candidates have a strong interest in data privacy and the technical challenges of managing PII at scale. As a "Technical Lead II," you will operate as a player-coach within the Security Automated Assurance group. The role offers the high autonomy typical of HubSpot’s engineering culture, including a **fully remote** arrangement in Ireland.
