Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) with at least 6 years of experience sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations. You are the ideal candidate if you thrive in "intense" environments and have a background in launching complex consumer products within highly regulated industries. A technical degree is required, and experience in FinTech or top-tier consulting is highly preferred. The position offers a competitive salary range of $167,280 – $196,800 plus equity and bonuses. While the role is remote-first within the USA, it emphasizes high-impact collaboration with multiple annual offsites. This is a high-visibility "utility player" role within the Compliance Product Strategy team, offering the chance to build a global financial system from the ground up. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have 6+ years of TPM experience managing the full product development lifecycle (PDLC). * Can navigate complex regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, BSA) without sacrificing user experience. * Are comfortable with technical tools like JIRA, SQL, and Looker to track roadmap progress. * Relish a high-pressure, high-accountability culture and lean into solving "hard problems."
Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?
At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.
To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.
Our [work culture](https://www.coinbase.com/mission) is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.
While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
The Compliance Product Strategy & Programs team at Coinbase is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive our Compliance Data Integrity and Travel Rule programs. You will build the program management infrastructure for compliance data governance, establishing sources of truth, driving data quality monitoring, standing up data contracts between producer and consumer teams, and ensuring compliance data is trusted, audit-ready, and meets regulatory obligations. This is a data-intensive program management role that sits at the intersection of Engineering, Data, Product, and Compliance. A successful candidate will need to be an independent utility player who can create structure from ambiguity, proactively build cross-functional relationships, and drive execution across multiple engineering and data teams.
