Work type: onsite
Location: Office Based - Beijing, China
Type: Full-time
This role is ideal for a mid-level Linux enthusiast with a strong background in system architecture and hardware enablement. You should possess deep technical knowledge of the Linux kernel and boot process, along with the debugging prowess to resolve complex platform bring-up issues. Unlike most roles at this company, this is a dedicated **on-site position based in Beijing**, requiring a unique blend of high-level engineering and partner-facing communication skills.
The position offers a high-impact opportunity to work directly with global silicon giants like Intel, Nvidia, and Qualcomm. While the base salary is determined by local Beijing market rates and experience, the package includes a $2,000 annual development budget, performance bonuses, and travel perks like Priority Pass. You will also participate in international "sprints," traveling twice a year to collaborate with the global team in person.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have professional experience with system-level debugging, firmware (UEFI/ACPI), or board bring-up.
* Possess an exceptional academic record in a technical field (Computer Science or Engineering).
* Are comfortable acting as a technical bridge between hardware partners and internal engineering teams.
* Are fluent in English and ready for occasional international travel to the US, Europe, or Taiwan.
