This is a specialized **volunteer opportunity** for mid-level or senior software engineers and computer science enthusiasts who are passionate about decentralization and privacy-preserving technology. It is ideal for those who want to contribute to the "Network State" movement by guiding local communities through the technical implementation of blockchain-based governance tools. As a volunteer Technical Steward, you will receive direct training on the Logos stack and be paired with an internal "buddy" from the core team. While this is an unpaid role requiring roughly 2 hours per week for 6-12 months, it offers a high-impact way to network with core blockchain contributors, gain deep technical knowledge of the Logos ecosystem, and take a leadership role in organizing local "Circles." **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have a strong background in software engineering or computer science. * Can commit at least 2 hours per week for the next 6 to 12 months. * Are comfortable explaining complex blockchain and decentralization concepts to others. * Are deeply aligned with the mission of building a freer, decentralized internet.
Logos is a movement supporting the development of the decentralised web. Logos technologies lay the foundations for a freer internet upon which communities can evolve into network states. Each protocol in the Logos stack seeks to empower its users while upholding civil liberties and fundamental freedoms.
### Circles initiative
[Logos Circles ](https://circles.logos.co/)are self-organised groups that take action to solve issues that matter locally. They are a form of parallel governance: instead of reforming broken or rigged institutions, they build better ones that live on or are sustained by the network. Circles respond to local needs, build trust on the ground through solving problems, and experiment with real-world applications of Logos tech and values.

We are looking for Technical Steward Volunteers who are passionate about the use of Blockchain and privacy-preserving technology to provide alternate forms of governance that support local communities.
